Mackinlay McPherson于1964年创建了Glenallachie酒厂，以监督Aberlour附近的Glenallachie酒厂的建设和运营。后来进行了几次收购和名称更改，该公司现在是Whyte＆Mackay拥有的，没有酿酒厂的非交易实体。

利斯酒厂历史

Glenallachie酿酒厂公司由Scottish＆Newcastle的蒸馏子公司Mackinlay McPherson于1964年成立。其目的是在Aberlour附近建造和运营新的Glenallachie酒厂，该酒厂最终于1967年建成。

1984年，该公司更名为Glenallachie-Glenlivet Distillery Co，然后又更名为Glenallachie DistilleryCo。仅仅12个月后，麦金莱·麦弗森（Mackinlay McPherson）卖给了Invergordon Distillers，后者于1989年将Glenallachie酒厂转给了Campbell Distillers（现为Pernod Ricard）。该公司仍然是Invergordon的一部分。

没有同名酿酒厂，Glenallachie Distillery Co.再次更名，这次更名为Leith Distillers，以反映该公司当时在爱丁堡利斯的Salamander Place的注册地址。

在1993年Whyte＆Mackay Ltd恶意收购Invergordon Distillers之后，Leith Distillers仍然是Whyte＆Mackay的活跃但非交易公司的控制。
